%newline%Sgt. Ferreira was critically injured while serving our nation in Afghanistan on March 9, 2010 by a suicide bomber. He is 23 years old and joined the military four years ago. Brendan is a member of the 101st Air Assault Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He is a 2005 graduate of Bristol Agricultural High School. Sgt Ferreira is currently receiving treatment at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is expected to be in the hospital for another 18 months. The monies raised will be used to cover expenses incurred throughout Brendan’s comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation.
