Leadership Education in Action to Promote Safety (LEAPS) for Young Workers is a three day, two night Academy hosted by TL@W that brings together youth from across Eastern Massachusetts to participate in teen-led activities focused on worker safety, worker rights, workplace violence prevention, and community action. The knowledge gained from the Academy will help participants create an action plan to bring back to their communities to help promote safety and violence prevention in the workplace. Teens who are eager to learn, have positive attitudes, and are committed to better the community the live in are invited to apply. Teens, ages 14-17 will form their own group of four to six teens with an adult advisor.

They will also be invited to attend a reunion in June to share with fellow LEAPS participants the result of their action plans.
